All previous house moves in my life I had done myself by hiring a van and doing about 50 trips back and forth. I’d always been dubious about hiring a removals company in case they broke or misplaced something. However, my wife convinced me it was a good idea and we went with Leadbetters out of three companies due to their great price, freindly nature and their can-do attitude.

We moved from High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire to Devon over 2 days 14/15 March 2022. Can recommend Leadbetter without any hesitation. Their team of 4 (2 men, 2 women) were very efficient, friendly, polite and also patient with us as we had a few last-minute things to pack. They were careful with our belongings and shipped everything without breakage to our destination. As we could arrange for them to have a key to our new property, they had the lorry already half unloaded by the time we arrived. They had assembled the beds and furniture and put it into the rooms we asked them to. They used their common sense to switch on the fridge and freezer and put tools etc neatly into the garage and shed. Absolutely great service.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the team for organising our move and carrying it out perfectly. A special thanks to David and James who were our removal men on both days and who were both professional and friendly and carried out our move with minimum fuss. Nothing was too much trouble for them and everything was done with a smile despite the heat and the number of steps they had to negotiate. It wasn’t the most straight forward move with some items going to storage and others to the new address but everything went without a hitch. I would certainly recommend Leadbetters without hesitation to anyone looking to move home.
