3.5 t – Removals Driver

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Job Description:

We are looking for experienced 3.5t Removal Drivers to join our small friendly team.

The job will be to assist with packing and moving household furniture and contents

from one Property to another.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out daily vehicle checks on your allocated vehicle
Packing customers’ belongings into boxes with care
Dismantling & re-assembling large items of furniture
Move customers’ furniture carefully without causing damage
Prepare, load and unload the Removal vehicles
Move items in & out of storage
Ensure vehicles are clean & tidy for next day

Requirements:

Applicant must be aged 25 years or older ( for insurance purposes )
Clean Driving license to drive a 3.5t Van ( Minimum of 2 Years Driving experience )
Experience in removals preferred but not essential
Must be physically fit as this position involves heavy lifting
You must be presentable, hardworking and be able to work as part of a team
Honest and responsible attitude
Confident with good customers service skills
Reliable and excellent time keeping
Have the use of a smartphone with internet data.
Overtime expected

Salary:

We are offering £ 27,000 to £ 30,000 – per / Year – based on a 40 Hour week.
Salary is paid Monthly
There is also plenty of opportunity to boost earnings by additional overtime.
Company Pension Scheme offered.

Overnight money and accommodation on long distance moves
Tips

Schedule:

Day shift
Some early starts some late finishes required.
Working week is any 5 Days Monday to Saturday.
